The Hardys, The Righteous, and The System Brawl Ahead of Slammiversary
The show opened with Matt and Jeff Hardy addressing the brutal Wicked Garden Match, with Matt saying they experienced a “rebirth”. He credited The Righteous for forcing them to evolve and vowed that they would regain the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary.
The Righteous interrupted, Vincent says that The Hardys were finally admitting the truth, while Dutch insisted they deserved the credit for their transformation. Matt fired back, saying The Righteous had made a major mistake. TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers and Bear Bronson of The System then came out and mocked both teams before declaring they would retain the titles at Slammiversary (as they should). All hell broke loose as we get down to business and have a classic three-team brawl. Jeff Hardy climbed a ladder and teased a dive, but The System and The Righteous retreated before he could make the jump…

Ash By Elegance Vs. Mara Sade
Originally it was suppose to be Mara Sade taking on Ash by Elegance, but she ended up taking on M by Elegance after Ash claimed she needed another mental break. Sade controlled much of the early action despite repeated distractions from Heather by Elegance. Indi Hartwell, who was on commentary, got involved by pulling Heather off the apron, only to be attacked by Elayna Black. As Sade connecting with a tornado DDT, but Black shoved her off the top rope as the ref just looked on, which cause a DQ.
Winner: Mara Sade via disqualification.
After the match, M and Heather assaulted Hartwell while Black attacked Sade until Rosemary and Allie ran down to make the save.

AJ Francis vs. Manny Lemons
AJ Francis dominated Manny Lemons from the get-go. After tossing Lemons around the ring and mocking upcoming opponent Elijah by walking the ropes, Francis shut down a brief comeback. Francis finished the match by planting Lemons with Down Payment.
Winner: AJ Francis.
Elijah appeared on the video screen, calling Francis a fraud and revealing that if he defeats him at Slammiversary, he’ll regain the intellectual property Francis has claimed. Elijah had enough and burned the cease-and-desist letter. Things are getting hot and heated here on TNA iMPACT!

World Title Summit…
TNA President Carlos Silva joined Gia Miller to host the World Title Summit between TNA World Champion Mike Santana and Nic Nemeth. The two traded verbal shots over their careers and what each had done for TNA. Santana acknowledged Nemeth’s decorated résumé but insisted he had carried the company through both good and difficult times. Nemeth questioned Santana’s accomplishments before making personal comments about Santana’s family, including his late father…which we know is a no no.
Santana punnched Nemeth, sparking a fight. Ryan Nemeth blindsided the champion, allowing Nic to drive Santana’s head into the TNA World Championship belt. Later in the broadcast, commentary revealed Santana had been rushed to a hospital.

Moose and Eddie Edwards Exchange Heated Words
Moose vowed that his “Throw in the Towel” match against Eddie Edwards at Slammiversary would only end when someone surrendered. Edwards blamed Moose and JDC for holding back The System, while JDC warned Edwards that his obsession with wrestling would ultimately cost him his family.
Alisha Edwards kept egging on Moose, daring him to spear her. Moose initially walked away before storming back toward the ring, only for JDC to stop him. Alisha declared she’d rather die than throw in the towel, while Moose promised there would be a funeral at Slammiversary.

Cedric Alexander, Frankie Kazarian & Mr. Elegance vs. Leon Slater, Fabian Aichner & KC Navarro
We get a small preview of the Ultimate X match for this Sunday here. Leon Slater, Fabian Aichner, and KC Navarro gained momentum with a series of dives. Kazarian got his team back in it, but we saw both teams trade near falls, with Cedric Alexander delivering a Death Valley Driver and Navarro answering right back with a Code Red.
Slater attempted the Swanton 450, only for Kazarian to hit a Slingshot Cutter. We get more madness and pandemonium. Slater finally connected with the Swanton 450 on Mr. Elegance, but Kazarian immediately caught Slater in a jackknife pin to get the W.
Winners: Frankie Kazarian, Cedric Alexander & Mr. Elegance
Nic Nemeth was out and he said that Mike Santana would not be medically cleared for Slammiversary and demanded TNA President Carlos Silva award him the TNA World Championship.
A bloodied Santana stormed out, attacking Ryan Nemeth on the entrance ramp before charging toward Nic. Security flooded the ringside area and separated the two rivals as the go-home edition of TNA iMPACT! ended…. See everyone on Sunday for Slammiversary!
