TNA has crowned an inaugural champion on last night’s episode of Impact.
M by Elegance has made TNA Wrestling history by becoming the inaugural Knockouts Television Champion. The first champion was crowned during the live August 27 edition of Impact, with M by Elegance facing Jada Stone in the tournament final to determine the inaugural titleholder.
Stone entered the match feeling the effects of her involvement in the Lethal Lockdown match at Lockdown on August 23. M took advantage of her opponent’s condition, repeatedly targeting Stone’s injured shoulder throughout the contest. M ultimately defeated Stone to capture the championship and become the first woman to hold the TNA Knockouts Television Title.
M By Elegance Becomes First TNA Knockouts Television Champion
The victory completed a successful tournament run for M by Elegance, who defeated three opponents on her way to making history. She began the tournament by defeating Rosemary in the opening round before advancing to face Indi Hartwell in the semifinals.
Another victory over Hartwell secured M’s place in the tournament final against Jada Stone, where she capitalised on her opponent’s injured shoulder to claim the championship. With the victory, M by Elegance becomes the inaugural TNA Knockouts Television Champion and adds her name to the company’s history as the first wrestler to hold the newly introduced title.
