Titus O’Neil’s days as an active WWE wrestler appear to have ended after a change to his profile on the company’s website.
WWE has removed Titus O’Neil from its active roster and moved his profile to the Alumni section. However, the company has not formally announced his retirement, while O’Neil has yet to publicly address the change. The 49-year-old has not competed in a WWE ring for nearly six years, with his most recent match taking place on the November 9, 2020 episode of Raw.
Titus O’Neil Has Not Wrestled Since 2020
Titus O’Neil challenged Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship in his final match but failed to capture the title. The bout came several weeks after O’Neil attempted to join MVP’s Hurt Business. The group rejected his request and attacked him.
Earlier in 2020, O’Neil also competed in a Last Chance Gauntlet Match on Raw for an opportunity to enter the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. He entered first, but Lashley eliminated him.
Despite stepping away from in-ring competition, O’Neil has remained associated with WWE as a Global Ambassador. His work has largely focused on WWE’s community and charitable initiatives, while he has continued making occasional appearances on company programming.
One of his most prominent appearances since his final match came at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, when O’Neil co-hosted the event alongside Hulk Hogan. WWE moving O’Neil to its Alumni section provides the strongest indication yet that his active in-ring career has concluded, although neither the company nor O’Neil has formally confirmed his retirement.
