WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil is giving back to his beloved community of Tampa once again.
O’Neil and the Bullard Family Foundation and Metropolitan Ministries distributed 500 “Boxes of Hope” ahead of the American Thanksgiving holiday. Each box was packed with all the makings for a Thanksgiving feast.
O’Neil explained how serious the situation is there.
“It’s the sixth-highest zip code for children living in poverty in Florida. For that to be happening right here in the Tampa Bay area, it’s ridiculous,” he told Fox 13 News.
O’Neil, real name Thaddeus Michael Bullard, is the founder of the Bullard Family Foundation charity.
O’Neil himself knows all too well what it means to grow up in poverty.
“I was once one of these kids, one of the families that would’ve been in this car line. To now give back that dignity and love — not just during the holidays, but year-round — I’m truly blessed,” he said.
For his charity work, especially in the Tampa Bay area, O’Neil was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and given the Warrior Award by the WWE.
