Tiffany Stratton wants to bring a WWE Hall of Famer out of retirement for a rematch.
At WWE Evolution 2 in July, Tiffany Stratton put the WWE Women’s Championship on the line against Trish Stratus. The match was well-received by fans, and Stratton wants to run it back.
Looking back on the match during an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Stratton said working with Stratus was like a dream, and she hopes they can have a round two someday, despite the seven-time Women’s Champion having retired.
“Oh, it was just- I feel like that whole day was just so amazing. I feel like it was like a dream. I’m really proud of that match with me and Trish. I thought we had such a good match together.
“We had amazing chemistry, and Trish, I love her. I love her so much. I wish we could have a round two. But never say never. Maybe she’ll come back out of retirement for me.”
Tiffany Stratton Wins WWE Women’s United States Championship
On the April 24th edition of SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton challenged Giulia for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. While Giulia was able to control much of the match and had help in the form of Kiana James, Stratton was able to overcome the odds and land the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the victory.
The win marks the beginning of Stratton’s first reign with the Women’s US Title, having previously held the NXT and WWE Women’s Championships.
