Tiffany Stratton is reportedly close to returning to WWE after more than two months away from television.
The former Women’s World Champion has been out of action with an undisclosed injury, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Bodyslam.net. Bodyslam has now reported that Tiffany Stratton has been medically cleared to compete, which would make her available for a comeback on SmackDown as WWE enters its busiest stretch of the calendar.
Stratton last appeared on the November 1, 2025, edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where she lost the Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill. The defeat ended her reign and began a lengthy absence that left supporters wondering why she had disappeared from programming.
The exact nature of the injury has not been revealed, but the issue was significant enough to rule Stratton out for the remainder of 2025. Reports indicate that WWE plans to feature her heavily as the build towards WrestleMania 42 begins.
Speculation has increased that Stratton could return at the Royal Rumble on January 31 in Riyadh, with the pay-per-view taking place at the King Abdullah Financial District.
When Did Tiffany Stratton Win The WWE Women’s Championship?
Tiffany Stratton won the WWE Women’s Championship on the January 3, 2025, episode of SmackDown, defeating Nia Jax after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract. Stratton held the title for 302 days and defended it successfully on nine occasions, besting the likes of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, Charlotte Flair, and Bayley.
