A trio of talent have left AEW.
Fightful reports that Matt Taven, Mercedes Martinez and Alex Abrahantes are no longer with the promotion.
Mercedes Martinez announced last week that this year would be her last year of in-ring action and that she wasn’t signed to any promotion, she was a free agent.
Taven hasn’t been on AEW television since November of 2024 in which The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) defeated The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) and The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) on Rampage. He has been relegated to RoH since the Kingdom hasn’t been a thing any more.
A former producer for TNA, Alex Abrahantes joined AEW in 2019. Shortly thereafter, his role was expanded from a member of the Spanish language broadcast team to managing The Lucha Brothers and Komander.
