The Undertaker has spoken about which wrestling star he believes is a “freakish athlete”.
During a 2017 interview on Out of Character with Ed Young, The Undertaker praised Brock Lesnar as a “freakish athlete,” reflecting on Lesnar’s early entry into WWE as a man in his 20s and pointed to Lesnar’s background as an NCAA national heavyweight champion and how he defied traditional expectations of a young WWE talent entering the business. Undertaker noted:
“There [have] been a lot. Lesnar, Lesnar especially his first time in [WWE] when he was still in his 20s. He was just a freakish athlete. And he still is, but I mean, in his 20s, when he first came up. He was a NCAA national heavyweight champion and he defied what your mind would tell you.”
In the same discussion, Undertaker also highlighted the physical strength and in-ring presence of other athletes such as Kane and Mark Henry. Regarding Henry, he shared an anecdote from a tour day overseas: Henry lifted a stranded car out of the way of their bus, emphasising his raw power.
Which Major Upcoming WWE Event Could The Undertaker Appear At?
The Undertaker is confirmed to be in Washington, D.C. on 12 December for a live recording of his “Six Feet Under” podcast at the Howard Theatre. That timing places him squarely in town for the next night’s episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for 13 December.
With that in mind, WWE could tap this presence for a special appearance or segment on the show, potentially tied to John Cena’s highly anticipated final match.
