AEW’s Adam Copeland has spoken about a certain WWE match he believes was the best of his career.
Adam Copeland has reflected on one of the defining moments of his WWE career, naming his WrestleMania 24 main event with The Undertaker as the standout highlight of his time with the company.
Speaking to Jimmy V3, Copeland discussed the milestone moments across his decades-long run in WWE. While he shared the ring with numerous top stars, he said nothing compared to headlining WrestleMania in 2008, where he defended the World Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker.
“In terms of WWE, it’s tough to narrow down,” Copeland said. “But I think main eventing WrestleMania against The Undertaker is one that is definitely up there, just because that’s what you work for.”
Copeland remained tied to WWE even after retiring at WrestleMania 27, before eventually returning to the ring and later joining AEW. Still, he has repeatedly cited the WrestleMania 24 main event as one of the biggest achievements of his career.
When Does Adam Copeland’s AEW Contract End?
Adam Copeland’s AEW contract is believed to run through until October 2026; however, there were some reports that stated October 2025, but Tony Khan and Copeland have since refuted these claims.
Copeland made his surprise debut for the company at WrestleDream in October 2023, and while exact terms were never publicly disclosed, reports at the time indicated that Copeland signed a multi-year agreement similar in length to other top-tier AEW deals. The contract covers both in-ring competition and broader promotional commitments, keeping Copeland with AEW well into next year.
