WWE Hall of Famer JBL has praised Logan Paul’s progression in WWE, tipping him as a future world champion.
Speaking to VideoGamer, JBL said he believes Logan Paul has already established himself as a major player and credited the 28-year-old for adapting quickly to professional wrestling.
“I love Logan Paul. I think he’s fantastic,” Layfield said. “I think the guy’s a future world champion… I’ve met him a few times, very nice, respectful guy. I’m a big fan of his. I don’t know if he should be rated higher than me, though!”
Paul made his WWE debut in 2021 and has steadily climbed the men’s division, holding the United States Championship for 273 days. He has previously challenged for both the WWE World Heavyweight Title and the Undisputed Championship, and holds victories over several top names, including Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton and The Miz.
Paul has recently aligned with The Vision, becoming part of the group on WWE television in November. JBL said that, despite mixed reactions from fans, Paul’s trajectory suggests he could become a future world champion.
