The Usos added another milestone to their storied legacy on Monday night, capturing the WWE World Tag Team Championships in the main event of Raw.
Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to claim their ninth set of tag team titles, closing out the final episode of 2025 on a high note. The closing stretch of the match saw Lee soar with a dive onto Jimmy at ringside, while Styles nearly put the match away with a Styles Clash. However, the momentum shifted quickly when Jimmy recovered and blasted both champions with superkicks. Jey followed by drilling Lee with the 1D, sealing the victory and igniting a celebration to close the show.
The title win capped off a strong return run for the reunited Usos, who had made it clear in recent weeks that they were focused on reclaiming gold. After reuniting, the brothers targeted the champions directly and earned their shot by defeating The New Day, setting the stage for Monday’s showdown.
The victory also marked an important moment for Jey Uso, who had endured a frustrating stretch as a singles competitor in recent months. Following a loss to LA Knight in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, Jey had visibly unravelled, even destroying a Prime Energy display in frustration. Reuniting with Jimmy appears to have provided the spark he needed, as the brothers once again stand atop the tag team division heading into the new year.
The next episode of WWE Raw will take place on January 5, 2026.
How Long Have The Usos Been With WWE?
Jey and Jimmy Uso have been part of WWE for 15 years, making them one of the longest-tenured and most successful tag teams in company history. The twin brothers, real names Joshua and Jonathan Fatu, signed developmental contracts with WWE in 2009 and made their main roster debut the following year.
After debuting on Raw in 2010, The Usos steadily built their reputation through the early 2010s before breaking out as one of WWE’s premier tag teams. Over the years, they evolved from traditional babyfaces into dominant main-event players, becoming central figures in multiple eras of the company, including their run alongside The Bloodline.
More than a decade and a half after their debut, The Usos remain one of WWE’s most decorated and influential tag teams, with multiple championship reigns and a legacy that continues to grow well into their second decade with the company.
