Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has undergone another dramatic physical transformation for his upcoming fantasy film Lizard Music, appearing almost unrecognisable in photographs taken on set in New York on October 20. The WWE legend was seen sporting grey hair, a bushy beard, facial wrinkles and a noticeably slimmer physique to portray The Chicken Man, an eccentric character in his seventies.
Directed by Benny Safdie, the film is based on Daniel Pinkwater’s 1976 children’s book and follows a young boy who discovers a mysterious world involving musical lizards. The project reunites Johnson with Safdie following The Smashing Machine, in which he portrayed MMA fighter Mark Kerr. The cast also includes Rachel McAdams, Colman Domingo, Regina Hall and Jeff Goldblum. Lizard Music is scheduled for release on December 25, 2027.

Jimmy House has been released from WWE’s ID developmental programme just seven months after signing his contract in March 2026. According to Fightful Select, House personally confirmed his departure, having previously competed on WWE EVOLVE under the name CJ Valor. He attended WWE tryouts in Orlando in January before joining the programme two months later. His release follows several recent WWE ID departures, including Cappuccino Jones, Santi Rivera, Sam Holloway, Marcus Mathers and Laynie Luck, while Veronica Haven also exited earlier this year. The departures highlight the continued turnover within WWE’s developmental system as the company recruits new talent. House’s next move remains unknown following his brief stint with WWE ID.
