The Rock has teased a potential return to Fortnite with a cryptic social media post.
The former WWE Champion shared a video on Twitter featuring a digital avatar of himself in armour, accompanied by the message:
“Meet me in the lobby this Thursday… 3/19.”
The timing has led to speculation that the teaser is connected to the launch of the game’s new “Showdown” season on the same day.
The Rock’s History With Fortnite
The Rock previously appeared in Fortnite as The Foundation, a central figure in the game’s storyline and leader of The Seven. The character was introduced in 2021 and became playable during Chapter 3, following his reveal in the Chapter 2 finale. However, The Foundation has not featured prominently in the game since 2022.
Outside of gaming, The Rock has not appeared on WWE programming since Elimination Chamber last year. His name has been linked to recent storylines, including speculation around Paul Heyman’s mystery ally and Randy Orton’s current direction, though no official update on a WWE return has been confirmed.
