Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has explained in an Instagram video the dramatic physical transformation that saw him lose around 50 pounds, dropping from approximately 282 to 235 pounds. Johnson initially gained around 30 pounds for his role as Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine, then maintained that size while filming the live-action Moana, meaning he carried the extra weight for about eight and a half months. He then spent approximately a year slimming down for his role as an older man in Benny Safdie’s Lizard Music. Johnson said 235 pounds is the lightest he has been since his teenage years and added that he feels “phenomenal”, citing improvements to his metabolic, cardiovascular and overall health.
Former WWE star Layla has denied claims that she has repeatedly rejected offers to return to the company. Responding to fans on social media, Layla said the suggestion was inaccurate, noting that she left WWE in 2015 after signing a new contract and was pregnant in 2021. She criticised people for making claims without knowing the facts and reiterated that she believes fans would be interested in seeing her return for a LayCool reunion.

Orange Cassidy has named Kenny Omega as his choice for the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Speaking to Catch Club ahead of AEW All In, Cassidy was asked to name his dream opponent and tag team partner. He selected Dean Malenko as his ideal partner, joking that Malenko could handle the work and tell him what to do because he “knows all the moves.” Cassidy then chose Omega as his dream opponent, calling his AEW colleague the greatest wrestler of all time.
