Former Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The IInspiration look set to leave TNA Wrestling following their title loss on the AMC premiere of TNA Impact.
The IInspiration’s Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay dropped the belts to The Elegance Brand in one of the most talked about matches of the debut broadcast, with Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance capitalising on interference from their entourage to claim the gold. Within hours of the broadcast airing, Fightful Select reported that the loss was more than just a booking twist, noting that Lee and McKay are believed to be finishing up with the company this week.
According to Fightful, the Australian duo have been working under short-term agreements since late 2025. The outlet previously reported in October that their TNA contracts expired despite the pair holding the Knockouts Tag Team Championships at the time. Both women continued to appear while discussions took place, but ultimately did not sign new long-term deals. While the pair were said to be open to staying, the report adds that there is outside interest in the team, and the timing made sense for them to exit.
The IInspiration’s Wrestling Careers
The IInspiration are best known for their run as The IIconics in WWE and NXT, where they won the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles before leaving the company in 2021. They joined Impact Wrestling later that year, enjoyed a brief stint, then departed before making a surprise return to the rebranded TNA in 2025. If Fightful’s reporting holds, Thursday’s title defeat marks the official end of their latest run, at least for now.
