As a guest on the latest episode of What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, AAA GM Rey Mysterio has made a big announcement.
The upcoming Survivor Series event will indeed have a traditional Survivor Series elimination match.
It will be Team USA versus Team Mexico.
“I had a couple of words with Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis and we are going to put together something very special. A classic five-versus-five Survivor Series match at Survivor Series where it will be Team USA vs. Team Mexico,” he said.
It is not clear who the team members will be.
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2026 takes place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas.
The match announced by Mysterio is the only match announced for the event with three weeks to go.
