The second night of the Super Jr. Tag League 2026 tournament became a crime scene. A scene of a kidnapping.
After losing to the team of Hyo and YOH, The House of Torture (SHO and Dick Togo) kidnapped Hyo’s mascot after promising never to do so again.
During the match, Sho tried to bring his wrench into the match. As the official fights with him, Togo grabs his garotte and chokes out Hyo. Sho takes out the official and retrieves the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship belt. Before he can use it, Yoh clocks him in the face. Sho rakes Yoh’s eyes. Yoh and Hyo hits a double knee smash on Sho.
Hyo chases Togo around the ring until he is in position for a cutter and a Sampson Driver for the win. After the match, Hyo gave Yoh a big kiss…on the lips. Sho breaks that up with a double groin shot. Togo then takes Hyo’s mascot, a stuffed tiger/leopard plushie named MyonMyon.
Sho then hands a statement for the ring announcer to read. The statement reads that the House of Torture now owns MyonMyon.
As they walked off with MyonMyon, Hyo desperately crawled after them.
The NJPW SUPER Jr. TAG LEAGUE 2026 runs from October 24 to November 3, 2026. Each time will only wrestle five times in the tournament.
