“Stone Cold” Steve Austin was first in his class last weekend.
Austin finished 8th overall at the 2026 Prospector 250 in Yerington, Nevada out of about 45 competitors, with a time of roughly 5 hours 45 minutes.
He also won his class (Stock Mod Pro) at the event, marking a class victory and a strong overall result.
The Prospector 250 is an annual off‑road desert race held in Yerington, Nevada, USA, as part of the VORRA (Valley of the Rogue Racing Association) desert racing series. The race itself is an endurance competition.
Kawasaki congratulated Austin in an Instagram post.
“Steve Austin victorious at the Prospector 250! After nearly six hours of racing across the Nevada desert @SteveAustinBSR supercharged his way to the Stock Mod Pro Class win—a breakthrough Pro victory for Austin, and for the Teryx4 H2 side x side.”
Austin began competing in desert racing in 2023. He co-owns GFI Racing and drives the No. 316 car and won the 2024 Valley Off Road Racing Association championship in the Sportsman UTV class.
