Stephanie Vaquer is reportedly expected to return to WWE programming around the Clash in Italy weekend later this month. According to PWInsider, internal expectations currently point toward Vaquer resurfacing either at the May 31 event in Turin or during the television build leading into it. Earlier speculation had suggested a possible return on this week’s WWE Raw, but PWInsider reported she was not expected backstage for the Greensboro taping.
Vaquer has been sidelined since the April 27 episode of Raw after suffering a legitimate second-degree AC sprain during an angle involving Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Her planned Backlash match against Morgan was later canceled due to the injury. Vaquer is currently featured on WWE’s Clash in Italy promotional material, fuelling further speculation about her return timetable.
The Usos, The Miz, Charlotte Flair, Bronn Breakker, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton will be doing meet and greets at the UFC’s White House weekend festivities next month.
Chris Jericho has revealed that he is officially licensed as a magician in Nevada because of his famous wrestling fireball spots. Speaking on The Masked Man Show ahead of AEW Double or Nothing, Jericho said Nevada athletic commission rules required him to obtain an actual magician’s licence in order to legally use fireballs during shows in Las Vegas. Jericho joked that he still renews the licence every year and carries it with him at all times. During the interview, he also discussed some of the stranger moments from his career, including being sued over a t-shirt and nearly being arrested while filming near the White House.
