Ruca promises to “address the NXT Universe”
NXT will be addressing Sol Ruca’s injury tonight.
Ruca herself posted this simple update on social media.
“Well, guys. Due to some recent occurrences I need to address the NXT Universe. I will see you guys tonight, in the ring on NXT,” she said in a video.

GM Ava then clarified things in her video on Instagram saying: “Some unforeseen circumstances have come up and I know she wants to really talk to you guys about it and I will be out there with her.”
The WWE itself announced: “NXT Women’s North American Champion and Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca will provide an update on the injury that she suffered on Friday Night SmackDown.”
Word is that Ruca suffered a knee injury on Smackdown. She and partner Zaria challenged WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair but Blake Monroe caused Ruca to be distracted. Charlotte Flair took out Ruca’s knee from behind.
Ruca suffered an ACL injury which required surgery in 2023 and returned to action ten months later at NXT: Roadblock in 2024.
