Sol Ruca has revealed she required eight staples in her head following her Last Woman Standing match with Zaria on WWE NXT.
Sol Ruca shared images on social media showing the aftermath of the bout, including a photo of the staples, alongside behind-the-scenes moments and highlights from the match.
The injury came during a chaotic closing sequence that saw the action spill outside the ring. Zaria appeared to tease a truce late in the match, embracing Ruca before suddenly shoving her from a raised platform through two tables below. On the landing, Ruca crashed through one table and appeared to strike her head against the edge of the other, prompting concern.
Sol Ruca Made Her WWE Raw Debut Earlier This Week
The match followed a busy week for Sol Ruca, who made her debut on WWE Raw just one night earlier. During that appearance, she confronted Liv Morgan, leading to an impromptu non-title match that ended after interference from Zaria.
Despite the setback, Ruca’s NXT appearance also served as a farewell, as she said goodbye to the brand following the match. The moment was met with support from colleagues backstage as she prepares for a full-time move to WWE’s main roster.
