Randy Orton opened the show by addressing the crowd and discussing Cody Rhodes. Orton stated that Cody is a good man and a good father rather than a killer, but warned that his own soul is hardened. He declared his intention to pursue another world title, putting the winner of tonight’s main event on notice.
Nick Aldis spoke backstage with Chelsea Green warning her that she would lose her title if her mask came off. Chelsea insisted she could keep it and Tiffany Stratton arrived to ensure Lash would not interfere.
Rey Fenix (c) versus Ricky Saints
Fenix hit the Mexican Muscle Buster to retain the title. Saints refused a handshake.

Cathy Kelley speaks to Sami Zayn who claimed his title match was about justice and that he would take back the WWE Championship. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae showed up to offer support with Johnny telling Sami that he is next in line for a shot.
Nikki Bella versus Paige
After a chaotic brawl out on the floor, Nikki secured a pinfall win by hiding behind the official and using her feet on the ropes for leverage.

Nia Jax and Lash spoke with Cathy Kelley backstage with Nia vowing to break Chelsea Green’s face and Lash promising to neutralize Tiffany Stratton.
Trick Williams then came to the ring, hyping up his recent momentum and teasing a run at multiple titles before attempting to bring out Lil Yachty. Yachty failed to appear because Baron Corbin dragged him backstage and returned to the ring to assault Trick with a kendo stick.
Backstage, Nick Aldis dealt with Finn Balor who stated he was next in line for a title match, Danhausen appeared briefly and Gunther confronted Balor. Balor punched Gunther for spitting on his legacy.
Chelsea Green (c) versus Nia Jax – WWE Women’s Championship Match
Lash and Tiffany Stratton brawled at ringside with Tiffany saving Chelsea from a punch. Chelsea capitalized by putting her mask back on and hitting a Diamond Dust followed by the UnprettiHER to retain her championship.
Winner: Chelsea Green
Cathy Kelley interviewed CM Punk, who stated he was ready to show why he is the Best in the World and that he would not lose his title to Sami Zayn.
Damian Priest and R-Truth (c) versus Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) – AAA Tag Team Championships
The Viking Raiders dominated the match and hit Ragnarok on Truth to capture the championships.
Following the loss, a frustrated Priest snapped, putting a sombrero on Truth and laying him out with a South of Heaven chokeslam.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss discussed working things out while Fatal Attraction confronted them and pointed out Charlotte’s loss to Jade Cargill. Tatum then arrived to pledge her support to Charlotte after Money in the Bank disputes.
Rey Fenix told Cathy Kelley that his family is having a huge weekend with his title defense and his brother Penta’s upcoming match, right before Ricky Saints faked an apology and attacked him from behind.
CM Punk (c) versus Sami Zayn – WWE World Championship Match
Zayn aggressively targeted Punk’s injured knee throughout the bout locking in a figure-four leglock. Chaos ensued late in the match when Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae interfered. Punk fended them off, but Kevin Owens ran in to hit Zayn with the championship belt and accidentally struck Punk instead. Zayn capitalized with a Helluva Kick to secure the pinfall.
Winner: …and new WWE World Champion, Sami Zayn.
