Smackdown has fallen below a million viewers for the second week in a row on the USA Network.
Last week, Smackdown pulled in 968,000 viewers with a 0.21 rating in the key demos.
That’s a loss of 22,000 viewers in one week. That’s a 2.22% decrease.
The key demos dropped 19.23% from 0.26 to the 0.21 mentioned above.
These numbers don’t include world-wide Netflix viewership.
During the Fox era of Smackdown, the show generated on average 2.1 to 2.6 million viewers and the key demo was usually 0.60–0.75.
Since moving to the USA Network the average has been 1.0–1.2 million viewers a week and a key demo of 0.21 to 0.29.
Approximately half of SmackDown’s audience has been lost in the move but that audience is loyal, dedicated and there is no evidence of a steady decline, just yet. Ratings for Smackdown are flat.
