Former WWE star Sheamus has announced his first major public appearance since becoming a free agent on October 1. The former WWE Champion, now using his real name, S Farrelly, revealed on Instagram that he will attend Big Event NY in Brentwood, New York, on November 14 to sign autographs and take photographs with fans. Sheamus confirmed his WWE departure in July after declining a restructured contract offer, ending nearly two decades with the company.
According to Fightful, TNA approached him about appearing at Bound For Glory 2026, but his representatives did not pursue the opportunity. Despite reported interest from AEW, where several wrestlers have reportedly pushed for his signing, Sheamus has indicated that he is in no hurry to return to the ring.
Here is a great, little story Bangor wrestler moves step closer to WWE career. Here’s another: Independent wrestling promotion bringing the sport to New Jersey town for first time in over a decade.
AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Jamie Hayter is currently sidelined with what AEW President Tony Khan has described as a major injury. Speaking during a live broadcast on X following the October 14 Dynamite/Collision special, Khan revealed that Hayter remains injured after competing in a Chicago Street Fight at All Out. Hayter and Alex Windsor, collectively known as The Brawling Birds, defeated Divine Dominion’s Lena Kross and Megan Bayne to retain their championships. Khan had hoped the team would be available to defend their titles again, but Hayter has yet to receive clearance to compete. Despite describing the injury as significant, Khan hoped Hayter could return within the next couple of weeks.
WWE star Royce Keys has played down an incident during Monday’s Raw in which a fan threw a drink at his faction, 946. Speaking on The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, Keys said several drinks were thrown at the group as they entered through the crowd ahead of their match against Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa. One drink struck Lucien Price, with police subsequently escorting the responsible fan from the arena. Rather than expressing frustration, Keys viewed the incident as evidence that 946 is generating strong reactions from audiences. He compared the hostility to wrestling’s Mid-South era and said he enjoys being recognised in public, where fans have increasingly approached him shouting the faction’s name.
