Seth Rollins is reportedly not dealing with an injury despite his recent absence from WWE television.
Seth Rollins has not appeared on WWE programming since SummerSlam, where he challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns successfully retained the title, and Rollins has remained off television since the match. His absence subsequently led to speculation that he could be recovering from an injury.
However, a new report indicates that is not the case. According to WrestleVotes, via Fightful Select, Rollins’ absence is simply a creative break, and no injury concerns are keeping the former World Champion out of action.
“Everything I’ve been told, it’s a simple break,” WrestleVotes reported. “It’s not an injury, it’s creative.”
Seth Rollins WWE Return Window Reportedly Revealed
Although Seth Rollins is not expected to return immediately, his absence is reportedly not planned to be particularly lengthy. WWE is said to already have a potential timeframe in mind for bringing Rollins back to television, with his return expected around Money in the Bank.
“He won’t be out long,” WrestleVotes added. “Don’t think it’s this week or next week, but around Money in the Bank or so.”
The report therefore suggests Rollins will remain away from WWE programming for the next several weeks before potentially resurfacing as the company builds towards Money in the Bank. Rollins’ last appearance saw him unsuccessfully attempt to dethrone Reigns at SummerSlam, but despite speculation following his disappearance, his current hiatus is reportedly a creative decision rather than the result of another injury.
