It may be a few more months before we see Seth Rollins back in a WWE ring.
On the Mohr Stories podcast, Rollins revealed that his shoulder injury is a torn rotator cuff and that he needed surgery.
As many suspected, Rollins damaged his shoulder during that coast-to-coast head butt in his match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel. He landed with all of his weight on his shoulder and that caused the damage.
Rollins was asked when he would be back.
“I’m not sure. I have a few more months left with my shoulder. I had my rotator cuff surgery eight weeks ago, almost nine from when we’re talking right now. So, I’ve got another three months, four months at least,” he said.
It usually takes 6 to 12 months to fully recover from rotator cuff surgery. Someone’s physical health, the size of the tear, etc, can factor into the healing process.
