Seth Rollins has paid an emotional tribute to former WWE rival PAC, remembering the late wrestler as an incredibly talented performer and an even better person.
PAC, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, died aged 40 just hours after AEW All Out in September 2026. The Newcastle-born wrestler, previously known as Neville in WWE, was widely respected throughout the wrestling industry for his remarkable in-ring ability.
Speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Seth Rollins reflected on his friendship with PAC and explained why he was held in such high regard by those who knew him personally.
“He was just an awesome dude. He was so funny and so unique,” Rollins said.
“He was also super loyal and he was down to earth. He was just one of those people that… A lot of us who were his friends, speaking for myself, we looked up to Ben.
We admired him, I think, because he was so incredible at what he did in the ring, but he was also so humble about that part of his life. And the way he treated people with kindness and love, and there was a warmth about him. He was just an awesome dude.”
Seth Rollins Recalls His First Meeting With PAC
Seth Rollins also recalled meeting PAC for the first time during a European tour when he was just 21 years old.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion explained that he was immediately impressed by PAC’s wrestling ability, joking that watching him perform was enough to make him question whether he should pursue a different career. Despite PAC’s considerable talent, Rollins emphasised that his friend’s humility and kindness made the greatest impression on those around him.
“I hope his legacy in the wrestling world will be one thing, but his legacy amongst the people that loved him and knew him was just that he was an awesome human being,” Rollins said.
Rollins and PAC shared the ring on several occasions during their WWE careers. Their encounters included a six-man tag team match in NXT, where Rollins joined Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as The Shield defeated Neville, Corey Graves and Xavier Woods.
The two also faced each other in singles and tag team competition on WWE’s main roster. PAC’s death prompted an outpouring of tributes from across professional wrestling, with former colleagues and fans remembering his contributions to the industry.
AEW subsequently released tribute merchandise, announcing that proceeds from the sales would benefit the Satterley family. For Seth Rollins, however, PAC’s legacy extends far beyond his accomplishments inside the ring, with his warmth, loyalty and character leaving a lasting impression on those closest to him.
