Seth Rollins’ road back to WWE television appears to be gaining momentum as WrestleMania 42 approaches.
With roughly nine weeks to go before WrestleMania 42, Seth Rollins has posted new gym footage showing himself training without visible discomfort. WWE is reportedly hopeful he will be cleared in time for WrestleMania, with speculation linking him to the identity of a mysterious attacker targeting The Vision.
The former World Heavyweight Champion has been out of action since September 2025, when Bron Breakker attacked him and forced him out of the group. Rollins later relinquished the championship and underwent shoulder surgery.
The injury angle involving Breakker was used as a way to write Rollins off of TV, as he was already injured prior to the segment, having picked up the injury wrestling Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel on October 11, 2025, in Perth, Australia.
Breakker’s own recent hernia surgery has complicated matters, leaving his WrestleMania status uncertain and casting doubt over a potential showdown between the two.
For now, Rollins’ return to full training represents a significant step forward as WrestleMania 42 draws closer.
Seth Rollins’ Injury Troubles
Seth Rollins has suffered a multitude of injuries during his WWE tenure, having first been put on the shelf in 2015 after he tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus during a match against Kane at a house show in Dublin, Ireland.
Rollins then re-tore his MCL in 2017 and dealt with meniscus issues during 2023-2024.
