It seems WWE just couldn’t keep a secret.
Ever since CM Punk was attacked by Becky Lynch at Clash in Paris there has speculation that CM Punk’s wife AJ Lee will be returning to WWE.
AJ Lee hasn’t wrestled in WWE since March of 2015. On Raw, AJ Lee, Naomi and Paige defeated Natalya and The Bella Twins.
In a response to a fan on X, the WWEShop.com account wrote in a now deleted post: “With AJ Lee’s return to the ring, we are looking to have some [fire] gear hopefully in time for Wrestlepalooza,”
It is rumoured that Lee and Punk will take on Rollins and Lynch on what will be a stacked Wrestlepalooza card which will include Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the vacant Women’s World Championship.
