Two new matches were officially added to Saturday Night’s Main Event during the latest episode of WWE Raw.
Becky Lynch is now set to face Sol Ruca in a non-title match this Saturday in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The match came together after Ruca was interrupted during a backstage interview by Lynch, who mocked the former NXT star for still being winless since joining the Raw roster after WrestleMania 42.
Ruca later confronted Lynch in the ring and challenged her to a match immediately. Lynch instead proposed facing Ruca at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ruca attempted to raise the stakes by mentioning Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but Lynch quickly shut down the possibility of making it a title match.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Will Be Defended At Saturday Night’s Main Event Also
Saturday Night’s Main Event will also feature a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match as champions Brie Bella and Paige defend against former champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
Bella and Paige secured the title defence after successfully retaining the championships against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez of Judgment Day on Raw. Following the match, Liv Morgan and Judgment Day attacked the champions until Bayley and Lyra Valkyria ran down to make the save.
