Saraya has taken a significant step towards a potential in-ring return, and this time, she has provided clear proof that the comeback talk is serious.
In a recent update posted to Instagram, the former All Elite Wrestling star shared multiple training clips from inside the ring, confirming she is actively preparing for a possible return in 2026. The footage shows Saraya working with independent wrestler Vipress, running through fundamental sequences including collar-and-elbow tie-ups, headlocks, transitions, and chain wrestling, all while moving confidently and fluidly.
The footage reinforces comments Saraya made earlier this month on an episode of her Rule Breakers podcast, where she acknowledged a shift in her approach to training. She noted that her mindset toward wrestling has evolved significantly since stepping away from the ring.
Earlier in January, Saraya also revealed she had been revisiting her past matches and studying footage from the 1980s and 1990s, carefully evaluating which parts of her arsenal still fit and which need to be refined. She explained that originality and respect for move ownership were central to her thinking as she mapped out a potential return.
While no official date or promotion has been announced, the latest training footage suggests Saraya’s comeback plans have moved beyond speculation and into active preparation.
When Was Saraya Last In WWE?
Saraya last competed in WWE in December 2017, when she was forced to retire from in-ring competition due to a serious neck injury. At the time, she was performing under the name Paige and transitioned into non-wrestling roles before officially departing the company in 2018.
Her exit brought an abrupt end to her successful WWE run, making any potential return to the ring years later all the more notable given the circumstances surrounding her original retirement.
