Former WWE and AEW star Saraya and AJ Lee have teased that their feud is “never over” in recent posts.
Posting on Twitter in response to a story that AJ Lee posted on Instagram, which was a repost of USANetwork’s post of a photo of Lee holding the Diva’s Championship after she defeated Saraya, then known in WWE as Paige, at the 2014 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view to retain the title, effectively ending their rivalry. Both former Women’s Champions said that their feud is actually “never over.”
Lee’s post was captioned:
“never over, freaks and geeks and frenemies for life @saraya”
And Saraya posted in response:
“My fairy god mother, never over”

AJ Lee and Paige had a storied rivalry in WWE, and it all started on the Raw after WrestleMania in 2014, as Paige came out as a surprise challenger for AJ Lee’s Divas Title for her debut on the main roster after spending two years in NXT. Paige actually defeated Lee to win the title in her main roster debut, and would hold the belt for over two months until Lee won it back on the June 30 episode of Raw.
They then teamed up with each other twice in July before having a third title match at the Battleground pay-per-view that year, which Lee won. They then went on a house show loop, facing each other for the title until Paige recaptured the championship at SummerSlam. Lee then won it back again in a Triple Threat match at Night of Champions, defeating Paige and Nikki Bella. They would continue to feud on the house show circuit until Hell in a Cell, where Lee defeated Paige for a fourth time to end their feud.
