TNA won’t be losing its General Manager any time soon.
The promotion announced that Director of Authority Santino Marella has resigned with the company.
Marella has been with TNA for almost four years and has appeared alongside his real-life daughter, NXT’s Arianna Grace.
He is currently locked in a long-running power struggle with TNA Director of Operations Daria Rae (Sonya Deville in WWE).
As well as portraying their GM, Marella continued wrestling here and there.
His last match was against his daughter. He teamed with Indi Hartwell against NXT’s BirthRight (Arianna Grace and Channing Lorenzo) on an episode of Impact in May.
He last PPV match was being part of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at Bound for Glory.
