Royce Keys was present at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, this past week, sparking speculation about his immediate future following his Royal Rumble debut.
According to Fightful Select, Royce Keys, formerly known as Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW, was in Stamford to film an upcoming episode of What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon. The interview series features in-depth conversations with WWE talent and is expected to focus on Keys’ journey to WWE and his background in the business.
Keys made his official WWE debut during the Royal Rumble match on January 31. The appearance served as his first introduction to the WWE audience, where he showcased the power and intensity that defined his previous run. During the bout, the commentary team described him as “apparently immortal,” a line that appears to have become part of his new on-screen presentation.
Has Royce Keys Been On WWE TV Since The Royal Rumble?
Despite the strong showing, Royce Keys has not appeared on WWE television since the Royal Rumble. Reports indicate he was backstage at the first Raw following the pay-per-view, but he was not used on the broadcast. Instead, he filmed material for WWE’s digital platforms.
Keys is reportedly expected to be aligned with the SmackDown brand, although he has yet to make his debut on the blue brand. WWE is currently on the road to WrestleMania 42, set for April 18 and 19 in Las Vegas, with Elimination Chamber scheduled for February 28 at the United Center in Chicago.
