Roxanne Perez has shared a personal health update, revealing the reason behind her recent absence from WWE programming and offering insight into her recovery process.
The WWE Raw star and Judgment Day member posted a video to her official TikTok account confirming that she is recovering at home following surgery to remove a benign mass from her back. Roxanne Perez explained that the issue had been causing significant discomfort for several months before she eventually underwent the procedure. According to the former Women’s Tag Team Champion, the mass was located deep within her muscle tissue, something that has impacted her recovery timeline.
“I recently underwent a surgery to remove a benign mass that was in my back that was causing me a lot of pain for a couple of months,” Perez said. “This benign mass was located inside my muscle… there is currently stitches inside my muscle that will eventually dissolve.”
The WWE star said she has been away from active competition for roughly a week and described the first few days after surgery as particularly difficult.
“The first few days I literally needed help just standing up and walking. It was a little intense,” she said.
Perez admitted she is eager to return to training and get back in the ring, but stressed that she is following medical guidance to avoid setbacks while healing.
“I am absolutely dying to get back into the gym,”
She said, adding that pushing too hard too soon could cause complications with the internal stitches. Despite the challenge, Perez shared an optimistic outlook on her recovery and expects to return sooner rather than later.
“My recovery is going well. I don’t have too much pain anymore… I’m going to be back in the ring in no time,” she said.
