CM Punk was involved in an altercation with a fan after last night’s WrestleMania event.
In footage posted by TMZ, Punk swatted a fan’s phone out of their hands in the hotel lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino shortly after midnight last night.
The fan was filming Punk’s friend Bayley as she was greeting someone. Security had to step in to separate the fan and Punk. Ace Steel, Punk’s friend also helped calm the situation.
The man gathered his phone and turned away saying: “I’m sorry, man. I am sorry, Punk.”
As Bayley and Punk headed to an elevator with their suitcases the man said out loud: “He must’ve had a bad day.”
Punk did indeed have a bad day. He lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Word is that the match took a lot out of Punk and he was seen battered and weary backstage after the main event.
