Former WWE star and UFC legend Ronda Rousey shared how much money it’d take to get her to step back inside a WWE ring.
Speaking with comedian Bert Kreischer on his “Bertcast” podcast, UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE star Ronda Rousey spoke about why she is not considering getting back into the world of combat sports, stating that she is happy with her easier lifestyle as she no longer has to work as hard as she did to get into fighting shape.
Rousey said that while she still works out and keeps in shape, she doesn’t want to get back into an MMA cage or WWE ring, not for even a staggering amount of money, she said:
“There’s nothing you could pay me that would change my lifestyle. I don’t have anything to buy. You could give me $10 million, $150 million, no. I already have everything I want.”
Although she said she wouldn’t take even $150 million, she did say that if she were offered $1 billion, then she would take that deal.
“I guess a billion dollars, sure, I’ll take a billion. But nothing less. What would I even do with it?”
When Did Ronda Rousey Last Wrestle In WWE?
Ronda Rousey last stepped foot inside a WWE ring at the August 5, 2023, SummerSlam pay-per-view, where she faced her friend and fellow former MMA fighter Shayna Baszler. Rousey was submitted by Baszler in her first-ever submission loss, and it was reported after SummerSlam that Rousey would be leaving WWE. However, despite reports coming out in August of her departure, Rousey remained on the company’s roster page on WWE.com until October 28, when her page was moved to the alumni section.
Rousey did go on to wrestle three more times after leaving WWE, wrestling for independent promotions Lucha VaVoom and REVOLVER in October and November 2023. She also competed on ROH on HonorClub on November 17, 2023, teaming with Marina Shafir to defeat Athena and Billie Starkz.
