Roman Reigns may be working alongside Jason Momoa on the upcoming Street Fighter film, but he is already considering what the Hollywood star could bring to WWE.
Appearing on The Tonight Show on March 27, 2026, Roman Reigns spoke about finally meeting Jason Momoa in person after the two missed each other during filming. He praised Momoa’s personality and the energy he brought to their interaction.
“Oh, he’s the man,” Reigns said. “He’s just such a nice dude… and he brought this crazy energy. Once we linked up, it was just a good time to hang.”
Roman Reigns Said He’d “Pass The Torch” To Jason Momoa
The conversation then turned to whether Jason Momoa could make the jump to WWE, and Roman Reigns did not hesitate to endorse the idea. He even joked about a potential future passing of the torch.
“When I’m done, Jason, it’s all yours,” Reigns said. “I think he would be great, to be honest. He’s got all the tools physically, great charisma… he’s a little bit different, so I think he would fit in good with us.”
Momoa, best known for his roles in Aquaman and other major films, already possesses many of the attributes WWE typically values, including size, presence, and charisma. With his growing connection to WWE through the Street Fighter project, which also involves Cody Rhodes, the idea of a crossover appearance is now firmly on the radar.
