Roman Reigns has revealed some of the advice he has given Logan Paul.
After Logan Paul started wrestling in 2022, his third-ever match was in the main event of that year’s Crown Jewel, where he challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. While Paul lost the match, he won over many fans with his athleticism and personality.
During an appearance on Club Shay Shay, the OTC was asked if he was surprised at how good Paul has been in WWE. Reigns explained that while he’s a good athlete, it’s his charisma that makes him special.
“He’s a good athlete but, I think it’s his personality, it’s his charisma, that’s what makes him special and that’s why I’ve told him before is, ‘Don’t try to be one of us, don’t try to be a wrestler, just be Logan Paul. That’s worked out plenty. That’s what we’re looking for.'”
Continuing, Reigns advised Paul to try to fit in, but not to the point where he no longer stood out.
“Yeah, ‘figure out how to fit in, but don’t camouflage yourself here because you’re special.’ He’s fascinating to me.”
Roman Reigns Admits There Are Things He Would Change About Early Days In WWE
During the same interview, Roman Reigns said he would have said “no” to more things early in his WWE run. For example, he pointed to the infamous promo where he used the line ‘suffering succotash,’ which people still bring up to him over a decade later.
However, at the time, the World Heavyweight Champion says he wasn’t “rooted well enough in the main event scene” to push back against some of the more questionable creative ideas.
