On the second night of Road to The New Beginning at Korakuen Hall, Desperado felt the full force of The House of Torture as he challenged Douki for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Douki brought out an entire House of Torture contingent with him as he came to the ring. Desperado complained to the official as they all stood on the apron. Douki asked them to leave but they remained on the floor watching over things. Where are Desperado’s friends one wonders?
They trade headlocks and arms bars at the start. Douki gains the advantage by pulling on Desperado’s mask. Desperado does the same thing back. Douki complains to the official. As they criss-cross off the ropes, Douki falls flat on his stomach. Desperado walks right over him.
Desperado follows Douki to the floor but the House quickly stands in his way stopping him from getting ahold of Douki. The official begins reprimanding the House. Douki covers the official’s face with a flag or shirt, the House put the boots to Desperado swarming him. The crowd boos.
Douki throws Desperado through three row of chairs. Douki drags Desperado up into the seat where he gives him a spinning neckbreaker with his steel pipe. As Desperado attempts to break the official’s count Douki grabs him again. Evil pulls Desperado out of the ring. The House beat him with punches and chair shots before rolling him back into the ring. Douki gets a two count.
Douki has Desperado in his triangle choke but he reaches the ropes with his legs. Desperado is shoved into the official taking him out. The House rushes the ring kicking the stuffing out of Desperado some more.
Aaron Wolf runs into the ring. He starts throwing, slamming and shoulder tackling members of the House. Sho is choking Wolf. Master Wato makes the save with a missile drop kick. Wato splashes off the members of the house on the floor. Wolf and Wato grab the heels in headlocks escorting them to the back. Desperado and Douki have a battle of the submission holds but nobody comes out on top.
Desperado has Douki in Pinche Loco. Sho leaps up on the apron. Desperado blocks a low-blow sending Douki flying into Sho knocking him off the apron. He rolls up Douki but Douki kicks Desperado off who flies across the ring so that Sho can try to hit him with the House of Torture mirror in the head. Desperado though pulls the mirror away. The official gets in Desperado’s face. Douki manages to clock Desperado with the mirror as the official is out once again. Douki gives Desperado his Daybreak DDT on the mirror. Desperado kicks out. Douki thought pins Desperado with Suplex de la Luna.
Earlier in the evening, TMDK’s Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita) successfully defended the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships for the first time defeating HOUSE OF TORTURE (Yoshinobu Kanemaru and SHO).
The House of Torture jump started the match attacking Eagles, Fujita on the floor. Sho stands on Fujita’s throat as he holds up one of the championship belts. Kanemaru smashes Eagles’ head into a steel post as Sho makes the front row scatter. He bounces Fujita’s head off a steel chair. Kanemaru drags Eagles though the arena hitting his head off a metal barricade. Sho chokes out Fujita with a TMDK towel. Eagles falls in a heap as his head is smashed off a post again. The heels isolate Fujita as Eagles lays dazed after a DDT on the floor.
Sho brings Fujita into the ring and the official decides to finally ring the bell?!?!? What??? Kanemaru slams Fujita on the floor twice. Sho rams Fujita’s back into the ring apron suplexes him on the floor. Kanemaru and Sho pull on Fujita’s legs and neck stretching him around a ring post. Sho bashes Fujita’s back into the post before rolling him back into the ring.
Eagles is finally tagged in and he unleashes his fury. Eagles and Fujita have Kanemaru beat with the Sweet Buster but Sho pulls the official out of the ring. Eagles dives out of the ring sending Sho into the fifth row. Fujita pins Kanemaru with The Thrill Ride.

Shota Umino & Tatsuya Matsumoto vs Knockout Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice)
You know the Young Lion is going to eat the pin here. Oskar kicks Umino in the face sending back to the floor. They pin Matsumoto in 1 minute and 26 seconds with their roundhouse kick, Tombstone Piledriver finisher.

Aaron Wolf, Toru Yano, YOH & Master Wato vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (Ren Narita, EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi & Dick Togo)
Just like last night, the fight immediately goes to the floor with everyone brawling. Narita beats Wolf with a steel chair as Evil, Togo and Yano square off in the middle of the ring. Yano avoids their double team by holding onto the ropes and then taking them down with running clotheslines. Evil takes Wato onto the floor. As Togo holds Wato, Evil hits him in the stomach with a steel chair. He then mauls Wato’s face six inches away from fans in the front row. Wolf absorbs everything Yujiro can throw at him. Wolf judo throws Yujiro over to the mat and makes him submit to his arm bar.

Unbound Co. (Yota Tsuji, Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo) vs United Empire (Jake Lee, Callum Newman, Great-O-Khan, Francesco Akira & Jakob Austin Young)
After what he did to him last night, Tsuji confronts Lee. Lee just smiles at him until Tsuji rushes across the ring hitting him with a knee smash in the face. He then beats him into a corner with chops. Tsuji stands on his throat in a corner. When Gedo tags in he doesn’t even mess around. He outright chokes and chokes Newman. The official has to pull Gedo off Newman. As Newman distracts the official, Khan pulls out a steel chair from under the ring, lays it over his chest, takes someone’s chair and hits the chair on Shingo’s chest. Tsuji is held back while Lee kicks Shingo in the face with his big boot and pins him. As the rest of the team is fed to Lee, Tsuji is made to watch as he bowls them down one after another.
“I have beaten and torn through all of your friends so next is you with the belt on the line. I have returned from my hellish vacation and now I would like you to be part of the United Empire’s hellish legend,” says Lee throwing the belt on the mat.
“I will put the belt online. I cannot stand by and watch you do this to my friends. Don’t get confused. I am not a man like you. I don’t do things half-assed. I ask you. Are you ready? On February 11th in Osaka, brin it!” yells Tsuji.
