Ric Flair is claiming he didn’t get invited to WrestleMania because he threatened Ludwig Kaiser.
“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s husband last year so I am not allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me?” he told Ariel Helwani on his show today.
Kaiser, Stratton’s ex-boyfriend, is from West Germany.
“That English kid. He’s going to go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year,” said Flair.
When asked what happened he said it all began when Stratton made a “smart remark” about Charlotte’s divorces during their feud.
“We both know she’s not smart enough to have written. Somebody gave her the script,” said Flair claiming that Kaiser then stated on social media “he wouldn’t mind a one-off” with Charlotte.
Flair said he acquired Kaisar’s number, called him and explained that the next time he saw him, he was going to beat the “s–t” out of him.
“So, he went like a little bitch, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go,” said Flair.
Flair wasn’t sure if Kaiser was still on the WWE roster. He called him “a little punk”.
Flair stated that he should be recognized and appreciated for all he has meant to the business.
“There should be a red carpet for me, a red carpet to the front row and that’s how I feel about it. With my contributions in this business and the work that I put in, hours and hours of trying to make wrestling something that it is today and I got have problems with politics? Give me a break. I’m not mad at anybody. I understand it’s politics now. It’s too much politics and not enough wrestling,” he said.
Flair also claimed that Dennis Rodman wanted him to induct him into the WWE Hall Of Fame but nothing ever came of it.
