The WWE Hall of Famer shared an emotional message on social media, along with personal photos of himself, Scarlett, and his daughter, Charlotte Flair, to honor the young fan’s courage and the lasting impact she had on the family.
“I’m So Sad To Hear About The Loss Of Scarlett! She Fought A Tough Battle With Cancer, And Throughout It, Her Strength & Bravery Never Wavered. She Was A Light Of Pure Joy. The World Lost A Beautiful Soul, But Heaven Gained An Angel! She Will Live On In Our Hearts & Memory Forever. Rest In Peace, Scarlett!” Ric Flair wrote.
Ric Flair Paid Tribute To Scarlett Shortly After Charlotte Flair
Ric Flair’s tribute came shortly after Charlotte shared her own heartfelt message, explaining how meeting Scarlett had changed her perspective on life.
“At a time when I was feeling sorry for myself, you gave me something so much greater than I could have ever given you. You gave me perspective. You taught me courage, gratitude, joy, and how precious every single moment truly is. Those lessons will stay with me for the rest of my life.”
Charlotte’s connection with Scarlett extended beyond social media. She wore ring gear designed by Scarlett at Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 before dedicating her WrestleMania 42 attire to the young fan and her battle with diffuse midline glioma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
The wrestling community has also rallied around Scarlett’s family following her passing. A GoFundMe established to help cover funeral and memorial expenses has raised more than $63,000, including donations of $10,000 from NBA star Tyrese Haliburton and $8,000 from Charlotte, who donated under her real name, Ashley Fliehr.
Scarlett’s family announced that she had passed away following her battle with the disease, remembering her as a child whose kindness and personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
The outpouring of support from the wrestling world has reflected the impact Scarlett had on those around her, with both Ric and Charlotte Flair among those paying tribute to her remarkable courage.
