Ric Flair has denied rumours that he is returning to WWE, calling the speculation “disrespectful” and confirming that he remains with AEW. Flair said he continues to have a strong friendship with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and supports his daughter Charlotte Flair, but stressed that his AEW commitments prevent him from working for WWE. He also reaffirmed his loyalty to Tony Khan, praising the freedom he receives to pursue outside business opportunities. AJ Styles has laughed off another suggestion that he should leave WWE for AEW. The exchange began when Styles agreed with AEW World Champion Will Ospreay’s praise of veteran Dragon Kid, calling him “Goated.” A fan then urged Styles to join AEW, arguing that he should make the move for his son because of how second- and third-generation wrestlers are treated there. Styles responded by questioning how the fan had reached that conclusion simply because he agreed with Ospreay’s opinion of Dragon Kid.
ROH Women’s World Champion Athena is reportedly set to be involved in Bayley’s next Lodestone training camp. According to Fightful Select, the camp is expected to take place across two Texas cities over the next week, coinciding with WWE events in Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Private invitations have reportedly been sent to previous attendees, with several participants also expected to appear at Athena’s Metroplex Wrestling event on September 18. Bayley previously held Lodestone camps in Orlando in December 2025 and Las Vegas during WrestleMania week in April.
