Two very special guests are rumoured to be in attendance for John Cena‘s final match.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Vince McMahon and U.S. President Donald Trump will be at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th.
“Whether they show him (McMahon) on TV or make a big deal out of it would be something different but I’ve certainly had people in WWE who firmly believe that Vince (McMahon) and Donald Trump are both going to be at John Cena’s last match,” said Bryan Alvarez on The Wrestling Observer Live.
Speaking to the New York Times, Cena detailed his relationship with McMahon despite all that he has been accused of. McMahon faces allegations of sexual misconduct, coercion and sex trafficking from a former employee alongside past hush-money settlements and SEC charges for failing to disclose related payments, some of which he has settled while other civil and criminal investigations remain ongoing.
“Everybody’s entitled to their opinion. Just like I’m entitled to have an emotional connection to somebody. I don’t hold anybody or how they feel or what they view as permissible or things that’ll make them angry, happy, excited, sad. That’s their right as a human being.”

Although he recognizes the severity of what McMahon has been accused of, he still views him as an important person in his life.
“I don’t care who hears it: I love Vince. I’m not downplaying anything that needs to be decided or allegations of any kind but when I love somebody I love them wholeheartedly. I know people are going to be angry about that but they can’t put their value on my relationship with somebody I love,” he said.
Coincidentally, Cena played the President of the United States in the movie Heads of State.
John Cena himself announced that “The Last Time Is Now Tournament” will feature 16 Superstars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and even “elsewhere” who will via for the opportunity to face him at his final match.
