An unconfirmed story has been circulating about wrestling legend Konnan. It is being reported that due to health complications he had to be hospitalized and have his leg amputated. There has been no confirmation from Konnan himself or anyone close to him that this is the case. In his report, a contributor to Record in Mexico was the first to report the news. The report in Record reads: “According to information from El Planchitas, a contributor for RÉCORD, Carlos Santiago Espada—Konnan’s real name—underwent surgery in which one of his legs was amputated. The situation has caused concern among fans and figures within the industry…So far, no further official details have been released about his health condition or about the circumstances that led to the surgery.”
