The return date for Randy Orton on WWE TV has reportedly been confirmed.
Randy Orton hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since the October 3 episode of SmackDown, leading fans to question when “The Viper” will be returning to the company. Now, PWInsider has reported that Orton is scheduled to appear at the December 5 episode of SmackDown in Austin, Texas.
It is unknown if Orton will compete at Survivor Series, which takes place a week before his scheduled SmackDown appearance, although he hasn’t been announced for the card. Orton’s last pay-per-view bout came at night one of SummerSlam on August 2, where he teamed with Jelly Roll to face the team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a losing effort. Orton has appeared sporadically in WWE since he returned from a spinal cord nerve injury at Elimination Chamber in March.
How Long Has Randy Orton Been With WWE?
Randy Orton has been with the WWE since 2000, as he signed a developmental deal and wrestled in the developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling, until his main roster debut in 2002. Orton quickly rose to prominence in the company and became the youngest world champion in WWE history, capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004 by defeating Chris Benoit.
Orton has gone on to become a 14-time world champion in WWE, capturing the World Title four times and the WWE Title ten times.
