Randy Orton has continued teasing a mystery alliance following his recent heel turn, with a potential reveal now looming on WWE SmackDown.
Since turning on Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton has hinted at working with an unnamed “phone friend,” though he has yet to confirm the identity of the individual. The storyline has fuelled speculation that the alliance could involve another prominent wrestling family.
Orton recently shared an update on social media, suggesting that a meeting with the mystery figure is set to take place on the April 3 episode of SmackDown in his hometown of St. Louis.
“Likewise, man. I appreciate everything you’ve been doing for me. Yeah, I think we are good to go. This Friday, right? I’d see you in St. Louis,” Orton said.
Randy Orton Earned His Shot For The Undisputed WWE Title At Elimination Chamber
The development comes after Randy Orton secured a championship opportunity by winning the 2026 Elimination Chamber, earning a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Since then, Orton has embraced a more aggressive persona, attacking multiple names, including Rhodes, Matt Cardona and even his former tag team partner Jelly Roll. With SmackDown set for April 3, attention now turns to whether Orton’s mystery ally will finally be revealed.
