A WWE TV return date for Randy Orton may have been revealed.
Randy Orton has been absent from WWE television for several months, but new promotional material suggests his return is imminent. WWE has released the official poster for the January 30, 2026, edition of SmackDown in Saudi Arabia, the go-home show before the Royal Rumble. Orton appears front and centre on the artwork, alongside Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Jade Cargill and Aleister Black. His featured placement has sparked speculation that he is set to re-emerge on television.
Orton was last seen on the October 3, 2025, episode of SmackDown, teaming with Cody Rhodes against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. After the match, Reed delivered multiple Tsunamis that left Orton injured and written out of storylines.
With Orton now leading the promotional material for the Saudi Arabia show, many expect his return to take place on the final SmackDown before the Royal Rumble, setting up a major role for him heading into WrestleMania 42 season.
How Many WWE World Titles Has Randy Orton Held?
Randy Orton has held 14 world titles in WWE, holding the WWE Title ten times and the World Heavyweight Championship four times. His last world title reign came in 2020, where he defeated Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell to win the belt, but he lost it back to McIntyre less than a month later on the November 16 episode of Raw in his first defence.
His most recent WWE title win overall came in 2022, when he won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship with Matt Riddle.
