Randy Orton has revealed he wants to feud with Finn Balor before bringing his in-ring career to a close.
Speaking in an interview with The Schmo ahead of WrestleMania 42, Randy Orton said a rivalry with Finn Balor is something he hopes to achieve before retiring.
“Finn Balor to me, I’ve been in the ring with him, but I’ve never had a singles match, let alone a feud,” Orton said. “I would love to be able to say that I did by the end of my career. I think Finn Balor is an amazing talent. There’s nobody smoother than him.”
Despite sharing the ring on multiple occasions, Orton and Balor have never faced each other in a singles match during their WWE careers.
Orton also noted the importance of house shows in helping performers build chemistry, particularly when working with opponents they have not previously faced in one-on-one competition.
