Wrestling Revolution has been pulled by its publisher GGMUKSINC.
In a statement to Slam Wrestling in response to our story, the company said: “We’re very sorry about all of this. We are simply a small studio that tries to help small developers to reach broader audiences on Playstation.”
The game itself was described as: “Step into the arena and rise through the ranks in Wrestling Revolution, a fast-paced wrestling game featuring Training Mode, a 10-fight Arena Story Mode, and intense Survival Mode. Build your fighter, defeat powerful rivals, earn rewards, unlock wrestlers, and prove you have what it takes to become the next champion.”
It was however criticized for what appears to be the blatant use of AI and their cover star who appears to be Solo Sikoa from WWE 2K26. Also, the characters in the game appear to be clones of Kenny Omega, Roman Reigns, Christian and Penta and there is a game already entitled Wrestling Revolution as well. It was developed by MDickie, who also created one of the best but least known wrestling games, Wrestling Empire.
“To be clear, GGMUKS was only involved in the porting of this game that was 100% developed by NGX Studios. We have made cursory reviews of the game content and we’ve unfortunately missed the series by MDickie. We do not know anything about Wrestling Revolution and we did not know anyone was “cloned” or copied,” also said the studio.
GGMUKS confirms they have pulled the game they call “scamware” from the Playstation Store. It is no longer available for purchase.
“We have removed the concept for this game, and it will not be coming out. Furthermore, we are cancelling the other game we’ve ported for this studio,” a spokesperson stated.
Wrestling Revolution was scheduled to be released July 15th and was developed by NGX Studios.
